Noteworthy Topics
Approximately 90 Percent of Medical Facilities with More Than 3,000 Health Checkup Examinees Per Year Have Medical Checkup Information System in Place
In view of the medical checkup information system installation status by the number of examinees per year, the result indicated that 95.7% of the medical facilities with more than 3,000 health checkup examinees per year has the system set in place, meaning almost all facilities have already deployed the information system.
Medical checkup information system supports all kinds of processes involved in health checkups comprehensively, covering functions like reservation, schedule management, automatic result categorization (based on predesignated criteria), creation/printing of result sheets, and billing. Installation of the medical checkup information system contributes to streamlining operations at medical facilities with a large number of health checkup examinees, in other words, those that have contracted with many companies, health insurance associations, and local governments. Information system has presumably eliminated the complexities in coping with different conditions per client, such as the price per checkup, the types of tests, and the conditions for applying to a health check subsidy.
