Since April 2025, a series of legal reforms affecting not only logistics operators but also shippers and cargo owners have come into effect in Japan.
Logistics efficiency is no longer an issue limited to the transportation and logistics industry alone; it has become a major management issue for shippers such as manufacturers and retailers as well.
This seminar will explain the impact of recent legal reforms and the current status of related initiatives, while introducing examples of how digital transformation (DX) has been used to address new regulatory requirements and compliance obligations. The session will also present new approaches to logistics strategy in this changing environment.
- Overview of Recent Logistics-Related Legal Reforms
- Changes Affecting Shippers Resulting from the Legal Reforms
- Case Studies on the Use of Hacobell’s Logistics DX Systems
