Announcement of Webinar Marking the Launch of Halal Certification Services
Yano Research Institute Ltd. (Head Office: Nakano-ku, Tokyo; President: Takashi Mizukoshi; hereinafter “YRI”) is pleased to announce the launch of halal certification services in Japan through the establishment of LPPOM-YANO Halal Solution, in collaboration with LPPOM (formerly LPPOM MUI), Indonesia’s leading halal inspection body with more than 30 years of certification experience (President Director: Muti Arintawati).
Through LPPOM-YANO Halal Solution, companies will be able to obtain both Indonesian halal certification and Japanese halal certification. The organization also provides comprehensive, one-stop support tailored to Japanese businesses, including consulting, training, and certification assistance in Japanese.
To mark the launch of these services, YRI will host a webinar focused on halal regulations in Indonesia. This webinar is designed for companies considering entry into the Indonesian market, as well as those already operating there, and aims to support their understanding of halal regulatory compliance.

Indonesia has been implementing a phased mandatory halal certification system. Companies in industries such as food and beverages, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, daily goods, and related services are required to comply with these regulations.
In this webinar, LPPOM will provide an overview of Indonesia’s halal regulatory framework. A joint Q&A session will also be conducted by YRI and LPPOM to address participants’ questions.
