Understanding the Market for One-Day and Short-Term Job Matching Services Through a Survey of Corporate Recruiters
— Corporate Use of On-Demand Short-Term Staffing Apps in Japan and Their Future Growth Potential

Amid a continuing and severe labor shortage in Japan, the use of “spot workers”—individuals hired on a one-day or very short-term basis—has become a practical staffing option for companies operating in a diverse range of business sectors. In particular, so-called “Sukima Baito” apps—mobile applications that match companies with workers for short, one-day jobs that can be taken between other commitments—are giving rise to a new recruitment market distinct from the traditional long-term part-time employment market.

In this seminar, based on the results of an online survey conducted with 1,000 recruitment and hiring managers from private companies and organizations, we will explain how on-demand short-term staffing apps are actually being used by companies, as well as the growth potential of the on-demand short-term staffing app market.

☆ This seminar is recommended for those who:

  • are considering entering the on-demand short-term staffing service market,
