In Indonesia, processed products such as food and beverages, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, daily necessities, and related services are subject to mandatory halal certification, which is being implemented in stages by product category.
Since 2014, Yano Research Institute has partnered with LPH LPPOM, Indonesia’s government-accredited Halal inspection agency, which was the only Halal inspection body in Indonesia at the time. As of September 2025, we have been providing Halal-related services for over 10 years, including the publication of Halal directories, hosting seminars and training sessions, and supporting Japanese companies in obtaining Halal certification. We currently serve as the Japan contact office for LPH LPPOM.
For any inquiries regarding Indonesia’s halal certification, please feel free to contact our Halal Office.
