A New Category of “Wellbeing Alcohol”

Since the COVID-19 pandemic, consumer drinking styles have been changing, with greater diversity and an expanding awareness of health-oriented values. In addition to taste, alcoholic beverages are now expected to offer values that ensure safety and peace of mind.

As a venture company, SEAM has continued to propose “alcohol that is gentle on both mind and body,” with a focus on low-alcohol beverages. This session will introduce the market and trends of this new category of wellbeing alcohol.

Topics:

  1. Explanation of the changing alcohol market
  2. How younger generations perceive alcohol
  3. SEAM’s challenges and initiatives
  4. Key considerations for entering emerging alcohol markets

Speaker:
Yurie Ishine, CEO, SEAM Inc. Born in Hiroshima, Ms. Ishine graduated from Kobe University (Faculty of Intercultural Studies) in 2011 and joined CyberAgent, Inc., where she supported a wide range of companies with web marketing strategies. She founded SEAM Inc. in 2017 and launched the alcohol business in 2021, developing low- and non-alcohol beverages under SEAM’s own brand as well as through B2B co-creation.
