According to the “State of the Global Islamic Economy Report 2023/24”, the global halal cosmetics industry is experiencing remarkable growth. Muslim consumer spending on cosmetics reached USD 84 billion in 2022, up 14.3% from USD 74 billion in 2021, and is Indonesia, currently the world’s second-largest market for halal cosmetics, recorded a spending volume of USD 5.4 billion in 2022. The country’s Muslim consumers, many of whom are young and experiencing income growth, are increasingly shifting toward consumption that emphasizes quality of lifestyle. As a result, interest in halal cosmetics is rising, and spending in this category is expected to continue growing in the years ahead.

This Online Seminar will provide insights into the attractiveness and potential of Indonesia’s halal cosmetics market, offering useful information for businesses considering international expansion.
