Drones have been attracting attention throughout the world since around 2000 as a new way to support industry from the sky.

Operations using drones have already been widespread in some industries. In Japan, some adjustments to drones are being made to comply with regulations under the Civil Aeronautics Law, including a certification system for an aircraft weighing 100 g or more when flying from June 2022, and a permit for out-of-sight flights for some aircrafts from December 2022.

This seminar will focus on the drone market, which is expected to play an active role in many more fields in the future, and introduce current trends and future prospects.
