(Application Closed) The 1st Session of the Seminar of New Sensation: Changing Consumers! Current Situation and Future Environment in 2030 of the “Otaku” and “Solitude” Habit Market

Yano Research Institute Ltd. (YANO) supports the Japanese Snack* culture!
As a market research company, YANO has decided to officially support the Snack culture and is promoting various communication projects utilizing Snacks in cooperation with the All Japan Snack Federation (Representative: Sujitaro Tamabukuro) and Office Nagamo. This will be the first seminar of the projects.
*Snack: A type of bars very often run and operated by a proprietress called “Mama,” which is often referred to as hostess bars overseas and possibly unique to Japan.
Chapter 1: Lecture (6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.)
How will varying lifestyles, “otaku” and “solitude” habits of Japanese people, changing views on family and consumer mindset influence industries in Japan? What will be strategies for dealing with these changes? And what will the distribution and retail market be like in 2030? The detailed information will be presented by the researcher of YANO*. Please enjoy the lecture (story) with drinks and snacks. You will also have opportunities for Q&A sessions and a wide range of business conversations thoroughly.

Chapter 2: Interaction & Discussion (7:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.)
This chapter will be a get-together session. You will have deep business discussions with other participants. For those who have never experienced the Snack* culture before, this will be a “trial” experience. Please enjoy yourself by exchanging business cards, introducing yourself, interacting with other participants and lecturers, etc. All-you-can-drink beverages, snacks, and karaoke will also be available (not compulsory), which are all included in the participation fee.
