Possibilities for new values and innovations arising when “seeing something previously invisible”?

Have you ever thought that you would like to try to find the scientific basis or clarify a process of your company’s technology accumulated through the intuition and experience?

The importance of effective use and utilization of science of measurement is increasing everyday all over the world. Also, in Japan, the launch of “NanoTerasu,” the first synchrotron radiation facility in Tohoku (scheduled to be in operation in 2024), has created an environment where various measurement tools can be selected, enabling advanced science of measurement to become more familiar to the public.

While industrial applications have already been progressing in various fields, including fuel-efficient tires, fuel cells, and cosmetics, local companies working on research and development utilizing the Go-Tech program (formerly known as the Sapoin program) are creating various results, including breakthroughs in technological issues, acceleration of practical applications, improvement of production efficiency, and quality guarantees.

Considering such situations above, in this seminar, the attractiveness and secrets of utilization of synchrotron radiation, which is also advantageous for local companies all over Japan, will be explained by an expert in the keynote speech. In addition, local companies and support organizations working on solving specific issues will also participate in the seminar to introduce the situation of practical use of synchrotron radiation and what they expect for the future from their unique perspective with real feelings.

Since the seminar will include specific case studies, those from companies that seem to have no connection with synchrotron radiation or those who do not know in detail about synchrotron radiation are also welcome to participate in.
