Telematics insurance and related services appeared in the 2000s in Japan. After that, smartphones became popular, connected cars appeared, and the demand for drive recorders increased, which diversified services and products related to telematics in general insurance companies.

In this seminar, the launch and transition of services and products using telematics technology and the future prospects of telematics insurance after the spread of connected cars and autonomous driving will be explained.
