The most significant external factor affecting the market is the lengthening, intensifying Japanese summer. According to the Japan Meteorological Agency*, the number of extremely hot day (maximum temperature over 35 degrees Celsius) in increasing yearly, while lengthening of the protracted high-temperature periods is rendering the traditional seasonal calendar obsolete.
Under the circumstance, uniform manufacturers are placing more weight on summer clothes.
