Our goal is to foster in-depth and insightful discussions with participants, leveraging our extensive market research data and industry expertise. "Snack Yano Kei" provides a unique opportunity to explore diverse industries, market trends, and social developments - often discuss topics that are rarely covered in daytime business seminars.
With drinks, snacks, and even the occasional song, this seminar blends business insights with a lively, relaxed atmosphere.

Discussing the Frontline of Customer Harassment Prevention at a Snack Bar! — Thursday, October 30, 2025
Starting in FY2025, several local governments in Japan will enforce new ordinances to prevent harassment by customers (known in Japan as “Kasuhara,” short for “customer harassment”), while the national government is also amending the Act on Comprehensively Advancing Labor Measures, and Stabilizing the Employment of Workers, and Enriching Workers' Vocational Lives to make customer harassment countermeasures mandatory for employers.
As a result, dealing with abusive customer behavior has become an urgent issue for many companies.
This time at “Snack Yano-Kei”, we’ll take a hands-on look at the latest trends in customer harassment prevention at a Japanese-style snack bar!
You’ll get to experience AI-based review analysis firsthand and have an open discussion with experts about real-world challenges and solutions.
In addition, our “New Business Uncle®” will offer a Kabeuchi session (interactive idea feedback session) related to customer harassment countermeasures.

Why Host This Seminar at a Snack Bar?
Yano Research Institute supports Japan’s snack bar culture. More than just drinking establishments, snack bars have long served as hubs for business networking and social engagement since the Showa era. They provide a unique setting where people can learn life lessons, social etiquette, and build meaningful connections.
In today’s digital age, interpersonal communication is declining, leading to increased loneliness and social isolation. However, snack bars are gaining attention from sociologists and ???unicipal representatives as a potential solution to these societal challenges.
As a leading market research firm, Yano Research Institute has officially committed to promoting snack bar culture. In collaboration with the All Japan Snack Federation and Office Nagamo, we are launching various projects to leverage snack bars for business and social communication. This seminar marks the first step in that initiative.
