Management Improvement in the Healthcare Industry Using the HITOTSU All-in-One Tool Developed in Japan – Case Studies and Future Outlook;
Achieving management improvement, workstyle reform, enhanced information security, and transparency for both hospitals and companies
Digital transformation (DX) in the healthcare industry lags behind other sectors.
Fundamental communication processes and various operations inside and outside hospitals still rely heavily on face-to-face interaction, phone calls, and paper documents, often resulting in inefficiencies and miscommunication.
At HITOTSU Inc., under the mission“Bringing everyone in healthcare together — Hitotsu (‘One’),” we have focused on addressing these challenges.
We are developing and offering “HITOTSU,” an all-in-one tool designed specifically for the healthcare industry, centered around the healthcare DX communication app “Link” and integrated with a wide range of industry-specific functions.
Currently, Link is used by over 250 hospitals and 100 companies across Japan.
In March 2025, we launched the “Model Hospital” project, in which our project support team works closely alongside participating hospitals to implement HITOTSU across their entire organization and drive measurable improvements in management.
A diverse range of hospitals have joined this initiative, including major public hospital groups and municipal hospitals.
In this session, we will discuss the growing need for tools like HITOTSU across the healthcare industry and present real-world examples of management improvement achieved through its implementation at model hospitals.
Our presentation will not only share our company’s perspective but also incorporate firsthand insights and experiences from hospital executives, physicians, nurses, and administrative staff who are directly involved in the field.
Key Topics:
- Environmental changes and challenges facing the healthcare industry
- Insights from hospital executives seeking tools suited to real-world medical practice
- Features of the HITOTSU all-in-one tool
- Case studies of management improvements through HITOTSU implementation
- Toward industry-wide productivity enhancement and financial sustainability
Please note that the above content is subject to change.
