The 2024 Logistics Challenge in the Last Mile
The logistics crisis triggered by the 2024 problem is not just an issue for private companies but has become a social problem involving the government and the public. This seminar will explain how logistics will change in the “last mile” (the final step of transportation where goods are delivered from a distribution center to the customer’s doorstep) with the realization of the government’s new logistics model, the “Physical Internet,” using the latest case studies. We will also consider the logistics strategies that companies should adopt in the future.
- What happened with the 2024 logistics problem?
- What exactly is the Physical Internet, the savior of the logistics crisis?
- Is the trend of shared delivery applicable to last-mile delivery?
- Latest initiatives and case studies
- Future trends and strategies
