As a medical information officer and manager responsible for introducing and operating electronic medical records, ensuring information security, and utilizing data to improve healthcare quality, I have witnessed firsthand the increasing importance of PHRs.
In this seminar, I will share insights based on my practical experience in hospital operations, introducing the possibilities and challenges of PHRs from a healthcare institution's perspective and exploring their potential roles and future directions.
The wave of digitalization is steadily transforming the medical field. As expectations for healthcare continue to diversify, PHRs are emerging as more than just tools for managing information. They have the potential to serve as a critical foundation for improving the quality of medical care and supporting the health of patients.

Speaker: Mr. Shinichi Iuchi, CEO, Karada portal Co., Ltd.
Mr. Iuchi joined the Aijinkai healthcare corporation, where he gained extensive experience in hospital administration, medical information systems, and strategic planning, eventually serving as the head of hospital administration. In particular, he played a key role in the medical information department, contributing to the implementation of cloud-based electronic medical record systems, the development of BI (business intelligence) dashboards, and the advancement of PHR systems.
Currently, as the CEO of Karada portal Co., Ltd., he leads projects including health event management, PHR development and operation, and healthcare business consulting, driving innovation in the healthcare field.
