1*: This seminar will be held through Zoom.

 

In Indonesia, the law to make Halal certification obligatory came into effect in October 2019, and compliance to the law is now mandatory. “Foods” have to be Halal-certified by October 17, 2024, and “cosmetics” have to be Halal-certified by October 17, 2026. Therefore, it is currently required to prepare for the introduction of adequate Halal certification systems for food and cosmetic products for Indonesia and other Southeast Asian countries.

Since we are currently in the transition period of Halal certification becoming mandatory, information gathering is regularly necessary for Japanese companies as well that have already obtained the certification on their products.

The purpose of this training seminar is to let participants in charge of corporate quality control for products targeting at overseas markets acquire the ability to understand and implement the Halal certification system.

This training program is mainly for those working in the industry of manufacturing foods and food raw materials, cosmetics and cosmetic raw materials, pharmaceuticals and pharmaceutical raw materials, packaging materials for consumer goods, etc., and the service industry such as the food and beverage industry, logistics industry, and warehousing industry.

In particular, these seminars are highly recommended for those in charge of quality control, product and raw material development, legal and regulatory affairs, and manufacturing and contract manufacturing.
