Although demand for those equipment and detergents at restaurants and accommodation extremely shrank since FY2020 due to the COVID-19 crisis, the market was supported by the markets of ready-to-eat food i.e., takeaway delis, etc., and by demand for food takeaways and deliveries. As behavior restrictions have been eased in FY2022, bringing back the demand for dining out, the market has expanded, though still failing to return to the level before COVID.
