- 2:30 PM – 3:20 PM
Advancing Hospital DX — Improving Hospital Operational Efficiency through the Digital Transformation of Patient-Facing and Related Operations
As labor shortages are expected to become more severe in the coming years, hospitals are increasingly required to improve efficiency and promote digital transformation (DX), particularly in patient-facing and related operations.
This session will explain areas where medical DX can significantly enhance efficiency—such as appointment scheduling, pre-consultation questionnaires, and patient explanations and informed consent (IC)—using concrete examples.
In addition, the seminar will cover practical approaches to promoting medical DX within hospitals, including how to manage DX projects, key points to consider, and common failure cases.
Topics:
- Challenges surrounding hospital management and the future direction of hospital DX
- Key areas for DX in patient-facing and related operations, with case studies of practical initiatives
- Points to note when implementing DX in hospitals, including common failure cases
