Activate Lab co., ltd. is a company led by a representative who is a person with a disability, viewing society through the lens of "disability" and challenging business creation and social transformation.

Speaker: Yushi Masumoto, CEO of Activate Lab co., ltd.

  • Born in Nagasaki, Japan
  • Suffered a brain hemorrhage at age 36 in 2009 (right-side paralysis, higher brain dysfunction, aphasia). Classified as a Level 2 physical disability.
  • After four years of rehabilitation, joined Pacific Consultants Co., Ltd. as a part-time employee with a disability.
  • Founded Activate Lab co., ltd. in July 2015 and launched the SNS platform "OpenGate" in September 2020.
  • Shareholders include Fujikura Ltd. and AGS Consulting Co., Ltd.
  • Capital: 50.9 million yen.
