Speaker: Hiratomo Miyata, Founder & CEO, GROUND Inc.

Mr. Miyata graduated from the Faculty of Law at Sophia University. He began his career at Sanwa Bank (now MUFG Bank) in 1996 before joining Deloitte Tohmatsu Consulting in 2000, where he specialized in logistics and supply chain transformation projects for major retailers. In 2004, he joined ASKUL Corporation, overseeing domestic logistics center operations. In 2007, he moved to Rakuten Group, Inc., where he served as Head of Logistics Planning and later as Head of Logistics Business. In 2010, he founded and became CEO of Rakuten Logistics. He later held positions including Executive Officer for Rakuten’s Logistics Business and Managing Director of Alpha Direct Service SAS (France). In April 2015, he co-founded GROUND Inc. and assumed his current role as President & CEO.
