Since the launch of commercial 5G services in 2020, the market has not grown as rapidly as initially expected. However, with the increase in communication traffic and other developments, infrastructure improvements are progressing in the 5G-exclusive frequency bands. In 2022, generative AI emerged, and by 2024, services utilizing generative AI have been gradually increasing. In this context, the seminar will examine how generative AI and other services, which contribute to the rise in communication traffic, could drive the expansion of the 5G/6G market, based on the trends observed in the 5G sector so far.
