Research Content:

To address labor shortages and improve surgical procedure efficiency, and strengthen measures to prevent hospital-acquired infections, medical institutions are focusing more than ever on the operability, safety, and maintainability of medical equipment and devices used in operating rooms. Additionally, limited facility budgets and rising material prices have led to a comprehensive assessment of products, including aspects of price, maintenance, and post-sales services, as well as product performance.
This report analyzes the results of a questionnaire about operating room equipment and supplies, including endoscopic surgery equipment, that was administered to medical facilities with operating rooms nationwide. The report includes comprehensive analyses of equipment ownership, usage status, manufacturer adoption rates, deployment reasons, product assessments, number of products, purchase status, and prices. it compiles the respective numbers of endoscopic, robot-assisted, and hybrid operating room surgeries (such as neurovascular procedures), out of the total number of surgical operations performed. The report also includes product assessments and evaluations of manufacturers' sales and maintenance services in medical settings.
