The client once held a top share in commercial dot matrix impact printers
and maintained country's only manufacturing facility.
But the demand for dot matrix printers had only remained in very limited application areas and was rapidly decreasing.
The client was in needed to find a new business area hoping to convert the facility,
technology and expertise of dot matrix printers.

The rate of growth, competition level, entry barriers...etc of for more than 240 industry areas were analyzed
and ranked by score measures. Through multiple selection and evaluation process of new business areas,
the client narrowed downed to 5 best suited new businesses for their needs.
Currently, 2 were abandoned, 2 are in development process, one was successfully launched and is building solid customer base.

Despite the worldwide success of branding strategy,
the brand had been struggling to penetrate into Japanese market although
they had broader recognition among consumers comparing to other brands.
The brand had been marketed through licensing, which created vast variety in product range with the brand name on them.
But, the preliminary research revealed that the brand value had been lost through uncontrolled licensing
to products including low priced sandals or towels that are mismatching for the brand image.

In reconstruction of distribution channel, licensees were carefully selected,
even buying back some of the inadequate products at loss. After the brand image rebuilt,
successfully launched the new lines.

And also, we were able to locate a plastic manufacturer produces a significant amount of waste of plastic grains
